3 Thanksgivings

Thanksgiving is perhaps our favorite holiday of the year. It's a deserved break in an otherwise very busy time of the year and it's a holiday without the crass commercialism that marks Christmas, Valentines Day, and Mother's Day. But most of all it is about the special emphasis on family, that very old tradition. This year, we were unable to be with our family in Minnesota, but we're nonetheless blessed to be with other families: our neighbors, our friends, and my spouse.
